About the Event
It is Readathon time!
October 19th - November 2nd
Readathon raises money to support the students and classes at Lava Ridge. In years past, Readathon dollars have purchased marimbas for the music department, PE equipment like scooters, Wall Ball Walls on the playground, and have sent Lava Ridge students on many field trips.
There will be different reading activities happening at school each day and record any minutes read outside of school. Anything counts – audiobooks, reading to a pet, parent read-alouds, etc! Please return the log to your child’s teacher on Tuesday October 27.
Reading Goal: 75,000 minutes
Fundraising Goal: $18,000
